This is very low of you taking the same mold from the LE and sell it as basic with another name. It is obvious that it is the exact same mold as Claude with just a little tiny and insignificant difference in the nose.
You can see it in the comparison pics. I love Claude and I own already one and surely would like to have a second one.
But why mock every one by offering him as basic with an other name? Just call him for what he is: Claude!

guys... this is not exactly claude. the eyes shape and nose are different, the chin/jaw is not exactly the same... only the mouth seems to be 100% the same.
this is a MODIFIED Claude! I can GUARANTEE you that if you had both IRL, you would see the difference!

I'm absolutely in love with him!
I know he is simmilar to Claude, but that's only because of the mouth.
If he had a neutral mouth instead of a smile, the "Claude's twin" stuff would not have happened.
But I loved Claude's smile! But I personally disliked Claude's nose.
That's why I really fell in love with Eric!
But for now it'll be One-sided love.....

I'm glad uchan did the split images to see how the two are alike *and* how they differ. Eric is a variant of Claude, Claude's brother if you will. But he doesn't have the specific nuances in Claude's sculpt that made the EG doll. I think I like Eric a bit better and am glad to get the chance at him. He's definitely on the wish list.

Image link : I compared Eric with my claude (excuse the bad pictures, they are all I have right now ^^;; )
eric's eyes are a bit smaller, so is the tip of his nose and nose bridge. different nostrils. overall, the nose is less large.
his lips are more curled so he looks like he is smilling more! and his chin is more pointy.

Yeah i compared every angle pic of "eric" to every angle of my sisters claude and you can tell Claude was the base in building eric but there are differences in the nose (bridge and tip) now it more delicate all around and his smirk is now more of a smile. So Because the face has been modified by the company of course he will have a different name since its not just a faceup change.
I'll definitely be buying this boy as well :)
